Colorado is one of my favorite states for elopements because you can self-solemnize meaning you just need you, your partner and your marriage license to say your vows. You don't need to worry about an officiant or witnesses!

When looking for Colorado elopement locations there are so many things to consider when planning your adventurous hiking elopement. The biggest thing is where you'll have your elopement. STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, COLORADO

PEARL LAKE TRAIL (PEARK LAKE STATE PARK)

This 3.6-mile out-and-back trail is near Clark, Colorado. It takes an average of 1 h 13 min.

SPRING CREEK POND

This 1.6-mile out-and-back trail is near Steamboat Springs, Colorado and takes about 35 min.

CREEK SIDE TRAIL

This 2.3-mile out-and-back trail is near Steamboat Springs, Colorado. It takes an average of 1 h 21 min.

FISH CREAK FALLS OVERLOOK TRAIL

10 am Meet at trailhead

- Take time to change into wedding attire

3:15 pm First look

3:30 pm Ceremony/vows

4-5:00 pm - Sunset photos at the summit *dependent on sunset time
