INTIMATE WEDDING IN HUNTINGTON MASSACHUSETTS

Sarah + Erik had their New England intimate wedding at Littleville Reservoir (Littleville lake) in Huntington Massachusetts and it was magical. They started their day getting ready at their neighbor's house and then headed to Littleville Lake for their ceremony. They said their vows together with their family and close friends against a mountainous backdrop on top of their favorite dam.
Sarah + Erik had been continuously going back to this dam ever since spending their first date together there.
For their reception party after their ceremony they took an untraditional twist and went back to their roots with a German wedding tradition called Baumstamm sägen. This is an old German wedding tradition where the couple cuts a log together to represents the first obstacle that the couple must overcome in their marriage. They must work together to “overcome the obstacle” by sawing through the log.
