BACKYARD ELOPEMENT IN THE WOODS

This was such an intimate and raw elopement organized by some of the kindest people I know. Niko and Kenny found me last minute and asked me to photograph their small ceremony at their home in Monkton, Vermont. I was honored they chose me. Both from California working in Hollywood, they bought a beautiful house together in the woods of Vermont and it's been home ever since. Their family was present as they had a small wedding inside. Eventually they braved the rain and took some misty photos in the backwoods.

Niko wore her husband's mother's wedding dress from when she first got married. It was magical, tearful and genuine.
